These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sazio, a mobile application operated by Strange Strategic Investments LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By using Sazio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Sazio Does
Sazio is a personal awareness and self-tracking app. It helps users notice patterns around food-related thoughts, food noise, cravings, snacking urges, automatic eating moments, and daily context such as sleep, stress, hydration, protein, fiber, and processed food exposure.
Sazio is not a diet app, calorie counter, medical device, diagnostic tool, or treatment app.
Not Medical Advice
Sazio is for informational, personal awareness, and self-tracking purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, individualized nutrition advice, mental health care, or eating-disorder care. Do not use Sazio as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical, nutrition, mental health, eating-disorder, or other health-related concerns. If you believe you may have an eating disorder or are in distress, seek professional support promptly.
If you are in crisis or believe you may harm yourself, contact emergency services or a crisis support resource in your area.
Local-Only Beta
Your logs are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for exporting or backing up any data you want to keep before deleting the app, resetting the app, clearing device storage, or changing devices.
If future versions add accounts, syncing, analytics, paid features, or cloud storage, we will update these Terms before those features are released.
Your Data
You retain ownership of the information you enter into Sazio.
In the current beta, Sazio processes your data locally in the app to show check-ins, logs, summaries, patterns, and exports. Our handling of data is described in the Sazio Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Sazio for unlawful purposes
- Interfere with or disrupt the app
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the app
- Use the app to transmit harmful code or content
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the app by automated means
Intellectual Property
Sazio, including its design, content, features, and branding, is owned by Strange Strategic Investments LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without permission.
No Warranties
Sazio is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strange Strategic Investments LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Sazio, including loss of data, health outcomes, or decisions made based on information shown in the app.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
